I try to make our wreath every year for Christmas. Here is our 2007 one....This holiday season I've been feeling red and white...I even had my husband buy new outside christams lights in those colors. Oh the things I make him do :)
Here are some pics from our gingerbread house making experience. It was the first time I've ever made a gingerbread house. I thought it would be simple but I was sadly mistaken...building and decorating a gingerbread house is a lot of work and creativity. But I survived and think we'll try again next year. Although I'm thinking that my husband and I need to each have our own house to design. I am from University of Oregon (GO DUCKS!) and my husband is my rival from Oregon State University (he'd like to insert GO BEAVERS! here...I'll allow it, this time). So one side of the house is for me and the other is for him....but next year I'm decorating my ENTIRE gingerbread house for the DUCKS! :)
So this was my first time Brayering---I love it! It's so easy and fun! I CASE'd this from the very talented Julie. I've made about a dozen of these for Christmas cards this year. I have about 75 people to send cards to so I'll be making a couple of different designs to send out. I'll post those later throughout the month.
