Cinnamon-Spice Popcorn

Cinnamon-Spice Popcorn
(Weight Watcher PointsPlus = 4)


4 cups air-popped popcorn 
cooking spray 
1/4 cup powdered sugar 
1 tsp ground cinnamon 
1/8 tsp ground or freshly grated nutmeg 
1/8 tsp ground allspice 
1/8 tsp table salt 
Place the popcorn in a large bowl; spray with nonstick spray, tossing well. 
In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and salt. Sprinkle over the popcorn, tossing all the while until well coated.

Week 1 - Andrew at GymStars Summer Preschool Camp

This weeks theme was "Under the Sea".  Andrew had a blast this week at summer preschool camp!  He learned about fish, octopus, sharks, starfish,  and whales.

Truck Day!

There were about 2 dozen trucks, vans, boats, buses, cars, etc at the Troutdale Library today and the children got to see them, get inside them, and talk to the people who use these. It was pretty cool. We only took a picture at a few of them because...well...momma got lazy :)

Hiking the Horsetail Falls

Today we hiked the Horsetail Falls.  What an adventure!  Andrew almost hiked the entire time...only 2 or 3 times did Dad have to carry him for a bit.  Andrew even got a blister from hiking...what a trooper!  Ryan was attached to me in a carry pouch and he stayed awake the entire time, just looking out at all the beautiful scenery.

Andrew and Preschool on the Farm part 2

Andrew with Teacher Mary.  Today was his last day of Preschool on the Farm.  He had a blast and can't wait until next summer....we'll definitely sign him up for more than one week next year!

Andrew has his 1st day of preschool today.  Every day this week for 4 hours each morning he'll be at a preschool on a farm for their summer camp session.  He's excited and poor Momma is anxious :)

Fighter! part 3

My health update - as far as the doctor can tell, all of the pre-cancerous cells were successfully removed. I will go back in 6-9 months for another check to make sure they haven't returned. Thank you all for your prayers, good thoughts and love! And a HUGE Thank You to my amazing husband for helping me get through this...there were some dark days that I could have only gotten through because of him and his love.
