Hiking the Horsetail Falls

Today we hiked the Horsetail Falls.  What an adventure!  Andrew almost hiked the entire time...only 2 or 3 times did Dad have to carry him for a bit.  Andrew even got a blister from hiking...what a trooper!  Ryan was attached to me in a carry pouch and he stayed awake the entire time, just looking out at all the beautiful scenery.

Andrew and Preschool on the Farm part 2

Andrew with Teacher Mary.  Today was his last day of Preschool on the Farm.  He had a blast and can't wait until next summer....we'll definitely sign him up for more than one week next year!

Andrew has his 1st day of preschool today.  Every day this week for 4 hours each morning he'll be at a preschool on a farm for their summer camp session.  He's excited and poor Momma is anxious :)

Fighter! part 3

My health update - as far as the doctor can tell, all of the pre-cancerous cells were successfully removed. I will go back in 6-9 months for another check to make sure they haven't returned. Thank you all for your prayers, good thoughts and love! And a HUGE Thank You to my amazing husband for helping me get through this...there were some dark days that I could have only gotten through because of him and his love.

Fighter! part 2

Yesterday went well. They removed two sections of my cervix that had the precancerous cells. I'm on bed rest for the next 2-3 days and will go back in 2 weeks to see how I'm healing...then we'll be checking on a regular basis to make sure the cancerous cells haven't returned. Brent was a trooper...not only did he have to take care of the boys but he had to keep getting on my case to stay in bed. Which is really hard for me to do...there's always just one more thing I want to get done around the house. ;) Thank you everyone for your kind words, prayers and support...and as someone told me recently "F cancer". :)

Tomorrow is my day to be a fighter. I will be strong for all of my boys.
